Stripes (1981) IMDB rating: 6.80 Plot: When New York City cab driver John Winger is fired from his job, his car is repossessed, he loses his apartment, and his girlfriend leaves him — all in the same day — John and his best friend Russell Ziskey decide to join the army. After enlisting, John and Russell are sent to Fort Arnold to undergo basic training under tough drill sergeant Hulka. Hulka is injured by a mortar bomb during basic training, and John has to lead the group in completing their training on their own. After graduation, General Barnicke Assigns Winger, Ziskey, and their platoon to Fort Milano, Italy, to man the EM-50 urban assault vehicle. By this time, sergeant Hulka has recovered from his injuries and has rejoined John, Russell, and the other men. When John and Russell decide to take the EM50 to Germany to pick up their girlfriends, MPs Stella Hansen and Louise Cooper, for a night on the town, the rest of the platoon searches for them because Captain Stillman wants the EM-50 to be put back where it was at. While searching for the EM-50, Stillman and the unit are captured by hostile Russian troops, who take them into Czechoslovakia. Now John, Russell, Stella, and Louise must venture into Czechoslovakia and rescue the guys.

I wouldn’t recommend that kind of takeover, but what I would recommend is three consecutive PL titles and two consecutive CL final appearances. But then Arsenal already play the ‘best’ football so I suppose that trophies are irrelevant at The Emirates

How active would a Border Collie x Spaniel be?
I found a Border Collie x Spaniel and he is 2 years old and he is desperate for a home. How many hours would i need to excersise him. If i do get him i would plan on giving him a daily walk. How many hours would be enough excersise for him?) and i was planning on playing fetch etc in the backyard.
Oh sorry i didnt put this is.. Its from a shelter.

Border Collie-2 hours to keep them calm and satisfied.
Spaniels-Generally 1-2 hours.

So, I would say a 45 minute walk in the morning, half an hour play time in the afternoon, and an hour run at night. Yep, that outta do it!

You also need to provide heaps of mental stimulation. Obedience training, interactive toys, hiding food around the house, etc. BCs are incredibly smart and need something to do or else they become destructive.

I would bet money this dog is need of a desperate home because of his exercise levels. Most likely he doesn’t have much training and is destructive because of lack of mental stimulation.

Just realize he may be some work the first few weeks you have him. And also remember that this dog will be a huge commitment.

I will repeat myself: before planning this type of time with the dog. Make time find this dogs owner, if it had one. Post signs in the community, check at the shelter for a microchipp, post an ad on craigslist.com. You cannot just keep a dog you find, with out doing everything to find an owner. Plus its good Karma, and someone may return the favor one day.

I own a Border Collie/ Springer Spaniel mix that is 3 years old now. She is happy with about an hour walk a day, plus she plays in the house and yard with my other dogs all day long, plus we play ball for at least an hour a day. If she doesn’t get enough exercise, she gets excessively barky and digs. She is one of the smartest and most trainable dogs I have ever owned, and an agility dog extraordinaire! My friends say she is human. These dogs require lots of interaction and mental stimulation to be happy, but will repay you ten times over!
