How did michael jackson come to have 2 personalities?
Friday October 30th 2009, 2:13 am

If you notice, there are 2 MJs:

the badass michael jackson, seen on stage and in pictures,

and the sweet, innocent, shy michael jackson you see whenever he’s not on stage. So i wonder, why are there 2 michael jacksons?

BONUS: Which michael jackson do you prefer? Badass or sweet/innocent?

well…i hope you read this carefuly,

Michael DOES NOT have to personalities…Let me tell you that i’ve noticed that "2 personalities" thing for a while…and was wondering about how he could be so diffrent off stage while he’s brave, smexy and really cool on stage..well..after watching a couple of videos on youtube and discussing this subject with a couple of ppl,i figured out that the realy MJ personality is the shy, innocent and easily embarassed one…you see,he finds himself on stage,on stage he finds his own world, where he can go wild and brave, the cameras were his best friend..infron of the cameras he can find the Strong Michael that won’t be easily defeated by the harsh life -cuz i suppose you already know that MJ was extremly sensetive- i think this is the best explanation…i hope i answerd your question

(i Love the sweet innocent MJ’s personality…it sounds so much like us,the normal ppl who are not hollywood stars) ;)

Here, this is smoething that MJ himself said,i found it on a group : "When i’m onstage,i feel that i’m in the safest place in earth for me"

Because he said he always felt at home on stage, that’s where he grew up.

And I prefer sweet innocent Michael. [=.

Have you read the The Little Mermaid story?

The original story by Hans Christian Anderson is a lot different then the Disney movie.
In the story she gets her tongue cut out as payment for the sea witch to make a potion to give her human legs, which puts her in lot of pain during the transformation. With every step she takes, it feels as if she walking on knives. She never gets the prince, but another girl does, ultimately she dies, but she gains a immortal soul, the first mermaid to do so.

I never read it, it sounds like an interesting story though. I would read it, but not to my children :-)

Love and Dating Troubles. Can someone help me out?

I’m in love with a friend of mine and I don’t know that if I ask her out she will say yes. I’m told she thinks I’m sweet, kind, and funny. But I’m worried that I might lose her as a friend if I go for it. What should I do?

Just bust a move!

CaptainNobody | Oct 26, 2009

You only live once…go for it. At least you’ll know whether or not she has the same feelings towards you. If not, you have to keep that in mind to maintain your friendship. Good Luck!
Aisha | Oct 26, 2009

IF YOU LIKE HER, MAKE A MOVE, THE WORST A FEMALE CAN SAY TO YOU IS "NO".

AND IF SHE THINKS YOU’RE SWEET AND FUNNY, MOST WOMEN WOULD CALL THAT MARRIAGE MATERIAL.

SHE LIKES YOU AND PROBABLY IS WAITING FOR YOU TO JUMP. WOMEN FOR SOME LAME REASON LOVED TO BE CHASED. AND THEY WILL KEEP WAITING UNTIL YOU MAKE THE MOVE.

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT LOSING HER AS A FRIEND, YOU SHOULD ONLY MARRY YOUR BEST FRIEND. YOU GUYS COULD BE IN A GREAT RELATIONSHIP RIGHT NOW, INSTEAD OF PLAYING AROUND.

Has anyone EVER visited the site where the TRUE chilling tale of BELL WITCH ghost story took place?

Just bought the movie today~fascinating as it’s a true story supposedly and pretty scary too, lol …
IF YOU’VE EVER VISITED THAT particuliar location where the hauntings took place~either the house or property, was it extremely eerie? And were there anymore true accounts that took place or any history that may of been left out of the movie?
hmmm, … pretty d*mn terrifying, EEEEEEEK!!! { :-o

[The Bell witch/spirit of Tennessee haunted the Bell family]

The supernatural is real my friend. The spirit world is indeed real and their are demons or entities that can plague and torment mankind. If you don’t believe it look at history. Hitler was indeed influenced by a supernatural entity for what man could have so much hatred in his heart to carry out the extinction of an entire race of human beings? You best believe it was the devil himself. the world is where Satan walks but God does keep him on shackles so he doesn’t get too carried away. The Bell Witch was probably another entity of evil that plagued this family by tormenting them. you have too understand that a witch is a human who manifest the dark powers of the world. An entity however is something that has never been born from the womb of a woman. It has never known life. I would;t be surprised if this type of dark force did actually manifest itself willfully. You also should ask the question why did it choose this particular family?

No, (truthfully, I would be too scared to do so) but here is some info and a link:

When the hearing opened, there were expectations that the court could order the group to be banned in France but due to a mixup over a law that passed in parliament just before the start of the trial in May, that option was ruled out.

Under the law it is no longer possible to punish a fraudulent organization with dissolution.

The court handed down suspended prison sentences ranging from 10 months to two years and fines of 5,000 euros to 30,000 euros to four leaders of the group in France.

The case was brought by two former members who said they were cajoled into spending 21,000 euros and 49,500 euros on personality tests, vitamin cures, sauna sessions and "purification packs."

Scientology, which is officially considered a sect in France, denies fraud and is expected to appeal. (Reporting by Thierry Leveque; Writing by Sophie Taylor)

Hot Mormon muffins: Calendar pokes fun at stereotypes of Latter …

&Mdash; The latest installment of a calendar series that pokes fun at Mormon stereotypes is putting a twist on motherhood.

The “Hot Mormon Muffins: A Taste of Motherhood” calendar features 12 mothers who claim membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in vintage pinup picture poses. Each month also has a muffin recipe.

It’s a companion piece to “Men on a Mission,” the three-year series of calendars that featured 12 male church missionaries who doffed their signature white shirts.

Last year, a dustup over the calendar ultimately cost its creator, Las Vegas entrepreneur Chad Hardy, his membership in the church and his diploma from the church-owned Brigham Young University.

Hardy said the projects are designed to shake up stereotypes that paint Mormons in general as stuffy or hyper-conservative and mothers in particular as homemakers from another era.

“For Mormons, the most holy calling next to missionary work is motherhood,” said Hardy. “But they’re not all the subservient housewives that people think they are.”

Church spokeswoman Kim Farah declined to comment on the calendar Monday.

On paper, Miss May and cover model Tami Roberts seems like she might fit the stereotype.

A lifetime Mormon, the 35-year-old woman from Idaho Falls, Idaho, has been married 17 years to a Mormon man and has three daughters, ages 11, 9 and 4. The family attends church, and Roberts said she’s raising her kids with Mormon values.

“I also want them to be open, accepting of other people, know that everybody is not the same and that it’s OK to make your own choices,” said Roberts, who works as a restaurant server and confessed to having a few tattoos, generally considered taboo among Mormons.

Roberts said her turn as a calendar model was an accident. Last year, she read news reports about Hardy and his disciplinary problems with the church and BYU.

“That made me mad, I did not agree with that,” said Roberts, who applied for the job on a whim after she heard a women’s version of the calendar was in the works.

She said the $15.95 calendar’s pinup poses and slightly revealing outfits aren’t in keeping with the message of modesty promoted by the church, but she’s not ashamed of the pictures.

“The pictures are tasteful, and it’s fun. I don’t see why people can’t have a sense of humor,” she said. “I just don’t think it’s a big deal.”

The women featured in the calendar range in age from 26 to 53. Some have as many as four children. Several are stay-at-home moms, while others are students, real estate agents, cosmetologists and dance instructors. One is a former Miss Utah and another is a breast cancer survivor, according to biographies on the calendar Web site.

Hardy and a business partner created the first “Men on a Mission” calendar for 2008. The 2009 version drew the attention of the church, and Hardy was excommunicated in July 2008 after a church court.

Hardy participated in graduation ceremonies at BYU in Provo a month later, but his diploma was withheld. He lost an appeal of the decision in March.

Leaders in Las Vegas and a dean of students at BYU said the calendar was not in keeping with the values espoused by the Mormon church.

Anyone enjoy the film Romeo Must Die as much as me? ?

I liked the film but it would have been cool if Colin had had a relationship with a daughter in Han’s family (played by Kelly Hu, Ming-Na, etc) before he was killed because that would have added another edge of drama into the movie to go with the tension of Trish feelings for Han putting her in danger.

I don’t like that movie that much.

I remember seeing it a long time ago.

i do like jet ! especially his older dubbed movies(blackmask, enforcer, lords of the wu tang)but romeo must die is a good one.

Loved it, I remember seeing it in the theater. I loved Aaliyah and always thought that they were trying to capture the same magic in "Cradle to the Grave", but it wasn’t the same.

I will always refer to Anthony Anderson as "Moron".

Who the hell is Ledisi?
Saturday October 24th 2009, 1:04 am

I was shocked to learn that although Daughtry is nomin8d for @ least one Grammy, he wasn’t nominated for Best New Artist. I’ll gripe about the actual nominees in another question. But 1 of those nominees is Ledisi. Thorough a Wikipedia search, I learned that she’s a R&B signer from New Orleans. If any of u have heard of her music & have her CD or downloaded her stuff, I’d like 2 no.
I actually heard her songs on Ledisi’s website. She certainly is a good singer, but I guess I haven’t read 2 much magazines like Rolling Stone or Billboard 2 recognise her. If Ledisi wins the Grammy for Best New Artist (& I think she could b a underdog 2 Amy Winehouse), perhaps she’ll get as much recognition as John Legend.

Ledisi is by far the best R&B, Neo Soul singer out there. She was mostly independent before she got her major record deal with Verve Records. She has performed with Chaka Khan, Rachel Ferrel and countless others. Her albums are as follows
Lost and Found –Verve Records
Feeling Orange but Somethimes Blue– Made as an independent artist
Soulsinger– made as an independent artist.
Not to mention she has appeared on Luther Vandross’s tribute album and she has had many duets too.

If you want to hear her music, I would suggest you go to her website or Verve records website. I would also suggest you go to amazon.com and look at all the reviews of her albums.

She is one of those rare artist that sounds the same on CD as she does live.

If you want to gripe about an music artist, this is not the one. She is not new to the music scene or her true fans. She is a fierce singer that deserves her nominations and I hope she wins!

I have heard her music on XM radio. AOL has a good bio on her.

Ledisi happens to be an artist who is LONG overdue for recognition. Check out her rendition of a Luther Vandross song titled "My Sensitivity" . Her current single out is called "It’s Alright"…follow the link

Ledisi is an AMAZING songstress that’s been an underground legend for over a decade. While she’s not a household name (yet) she will definitely be a legend in time. Even Chaka Khan said she was the "heir apparent" to her throne. A pretty big endorsement from a legend herself. YouTube has plenty of live performance footage. Her 2 indie releases (Soulsinger and Feeling Orange but Sometimes Blue) sold in excess of 150,000 copies. That’s "Dave Matthews" numbers before they got signed. Trust me…she’s worthy of the nom…though I think Daughtry should have been nominated FOR SURE!!!
